Vodafone Idea, which is popularly known as Vi has increased its prepaid tariff plans for the mobile prepaid connections, just a day after Airtel (and a day before Jio) announced to increase their prepaid tariff plans for the mobile users. The telecom operator company said that the increased price of the mobile tariff plans will help to enhance the Average Revenue per User (ARPU). The new prepaid plans of Vi will come into effect from 25th November 2021 whereas Airtel’s new prepaid plans will come into effect from 26th November 2021. The company has increased the price of the prepaid plans in the range of 20 to 25 percent.
In a press release, the company said,” The new prepaid plans of Vi will begin the procedure of redefining the Average Revenue per User rate of the company.” Interestingly, Bharti Airtel also released a similar statement about the price hikes yesterday at the press event while introducing its updated prepaid plans in India.

New Prepaid Voice Plan of Vi (Vodafone-Idea):
Presently, the basic tariff plan or voice prepaid plan of Rs.79 gives you Rs. 64 Talktime along with 200 MB data with 28 days validity. But, from 25th November onwards, the price of this tariff plan will be increased from Rs. 79 to Rs. 99 and the pack validity is for 28 days. Vi has also increased the extra benefits of this voice tariff plan for its mobile users like in the voice tariff plan of Rs.99; you’ll get Rs.99 worth Talktime with a voice tariff rate of 1p/sec and 200 MB extra data.
Unlimited Pack Bundles of Vi:
Unlimited Pack with 1GB data per day
Currently, the Rs.219 plan gives you unlimited voice calling with 1 GB per day (unlimited data) and 100 SMS per day benefits with a pack validity of 28 days. But, from 25th November, you’ll get the same features with the updated price of Rs. 269 which means that the price of Rs. 219 plan will increase to Rs. 269 but still it provides you all the same benefits of the Rs. 219 plan.
Unlimited Pack with 1.5 GB data per day
At present, the Rs. 249 plan, Rs.399 plan, Rs. 599 plan and Rs. 2399 plan gives you unlimited calling with 1.5 GB unlimited data per day and 100 SMS per day benefits with a validity of 28 days (for Rs. 249 unlimited plan), 56 days (for Rs. 399 unlimited plan), 84 days (for Rs. 599 unlimited plan) and 365 days (for Rs. 2399 unlimited plan). Now, the updated price of these tariff plans from 25th November will be Rs. 299 (with 28 days pack validity), Rs. 479 (with 56 days pack validity), Rs. 719 (with 84 days pack validity) and Rs. 2899 (with 1 year or 365 days pack validity).
Unlimited Pack with 2 GB data per day
At present, the Rs. 299 plan, Rs. 449 plan, Rs. 699 plan gives you unlimited calling with 2 GB unlimited data per day and 100 SMS per day benefits with a pack validity of 28 days (for Rs. 299 unlimited plan), 56 days (for Rs. 449 unlimited plan), and 84 days (for Rs. 699 unlimited plan). Now, the updated price of these tariff plans from 25th November will be Rs. 359 (with 28 days pack validity), Rs. 539 (with 56 days pack validity) and Rs. 839 (with 84 days pack validity).
Limited Data Plans of Vi:
At present, the Rs. 149 Plan also gives you unlimited calling with 2 GB data (limited data) and 300 SMS with a pack validity of 28 days. Similarly, other limited data plans of Vi like the Rs. 379 Plan also gives you unlimited voice calling with 6 GB limited data and 1000 SMS (validity of this pack is 84 days) and the Rs. 1499 Plan also provides unlimited voice calling to its Vi users with 24 GB limited data and 3600 SMS (validity of this pack is 365 days). Now, the updated price of these limited data plans from 25th November will be Rs. 179 (with 28 days pack validity), Rs. 459 (with 84 days pack validity) and Rs. 1799 (with 365 days pack validity).
Data Top-up Plans of Vi:
The price of the Data Top-Up Plans has also been increased with other tariff plans of Vi. The existing data top-up plan of Rs.48 will increase to Rs. 58 where the user will get 3 GB of data with 28 days pack validity. Similarly, the price of other data top-up plans of Vi like Rs. 98 plan and Rs. 251 plan will also increase to Rs. 118 and Rs. 298 where the user will get 12 GB and 50 GB data with a pack validity of 28 days. Also, the price of the Rs. 351 plan will increase to Rs. 418 where the user will get 100 GB of data and the validity of this plan is 56 days.
