Transfer Facebook Images and Videos to Google Photos from Desktop:
This is pretty easy to follow. Here’s the step by step guide.
Step 1: Login your Facebook account on the Desktop browser.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Settings’ option, and a new page will load.
Step 3: From the left sidebar, click on ‘Your Facebook Information’. The options will get loaded in the middle of the page.

Well, just in case you do not own a desktop or don’t have immediate access to it, you can try this from your Facebook Mobile App too. Just follow the simple steps below.
Step 1: Click on the Menu tab in the right-left corner (the three horizontal lines) and look for the ‘Settings’ option at the bottom of the menu list.
Step 2: Scroll down for more options in the Settings menu and look for ‘Transfer a Copy of Your Photos or Videos’ and tap on it.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page where you can see ‘Choose Destination.’ Tap on the same.
Step 4: Choose the destination, as of now the only target available as of now is ‘Google Photos.’ So, tap on it.
Step 5: Now, make sure you have chosen the right destination, lol! Also, see if you’ve selected the option of ‘Photos’ or ‘Videos’ depending on what you want to import to Google Photos. Once done, tap on ‘Next.’
Step 6: Now, you will be redirected to Google. From here, login with your Gmail ID and password and grant the required permissions. As soon as you’re done, the process will get started.
NOTE: When you are done with the procedure mentioned above, the process of transfer may not necessarily start. At times, the process might take a while to get started. In such situations, you will see ‘Transfer Pending’ displayed on the screen. This applies to phones and desktop both.
