What is a VPN?

The full form of VPN is Virtual Private Network. In simple words, it means a virtual network in which the user remains anonymous and remains untraceable from the website trackers.

Using a VPN, you can change your IP address to any other IP address.

By default, an ip address can be used to determine the location of the user he is browsing from.

Hence, the ability to change IP address enables you to change your location to virtually any place in the world.

That is why this is called Virtual Private Network. You may be browsing from your home but you can choose any location around the world as your browsing location.

It has many important uses due to its advantages.

Last Words:

That’s all about VPN, both paid and free. But if you ask me what service I recommend you to go for then I will say buy a premium service. No matter which VPN service you choose always read their privacy policy beforehand. Make sure you only take a VPN service that does not log user data or their browsing history in anyways.

  1. Nice list Nirmal very helpful

  2. Astrill is also a better choice for android, i just used their 7 days free trial in USA. everything is ok and i am thinking to purchase their premium membership while my stay in China for 1 year. i am afraid, one of my friend is not suggesting Astrill for China due to less netflix supported servers. please advise me.

  3. Hi Nirmal,

I have downloaded hotspot unlimited Elite from the above link. It is downloaded with a .exe file instead of .apk extension. If I want to install this on an android box, can I do it directly?

  4. Hi.. great article and tips. I disagree though with the last tip about getting a premium service immediately. It is best to get the free trial first to get a feel of the vpn service before paying for it. I started with Astrill’s free trial and now I never regret doing so.

  5. The vpn aint free the premiums

  6. Please provide “Troid Vpn” premium version because it so easy for android.
