2. Use Subheading tags:

3. Upload pictures yourself rather than using image links from the web:

Did you know? When you input a web image link, you are just building a backlink for the blog that has uploaded the image. Why not use your image instead? At least download images and then upload them.

4. Don’t use copyrighted images:

Use copyright-free images from google image, pixabay, Wikimedia, and Flickr. When you search an image from google, use the advanced search, and choose appropriate usage rights. Use the pixabay image plugin to directly insert suitable images to your post. The best way of approach is by creating and uploading your image. You can attach your blog name to that.

5. Give credits:

If you have to use copyrighted contents and images, then always give credits. Add a link to the content from where you have got it. Else your blog can get flagged by DMCA and it may be put down legally.

6. Use easy language:

You must have a good knowledge of the English language for blogging in English. But that does not imply you will use them in your writings. Write on easy language, remember, many people have many difficulties in that language.

7. Write your blog lengthy:

The length of the blog determines how much traffic you will get. But don’t write histories there. Because you don’t need to impress search engine bots! You have to impress human beings. And human beings want everything in short. People will leave your blog if they find it lengthy and boring. That’s why you need to use headings and subheadings to it. At least your blog should have 400 words. You can see your word count at the bottom of your text box where you type on wordpress.

8. Use Meta Tags:

Meta tags are the two lines that display in the search results after your blog posts. So, never leave an opportunity to utilize those 2 lines to attract users from search engines like magnets!

9. Use Keywords Appropriately:

Write your keyword on the post at least 5-6 times, but not more than 10 times, also use it on heading and subheading tags, on the blog title and url, on the meta tags, on the alt text of the image you are inserting. You must check this manually.

10. Test Yoast WordPress seo plugin:

After you have written your article, fill up the meta tags and the target keyword section, and the post title section and then check hows your blog post looking in terms of seo. Try to make all the points it suggests.

  1. Info about H1, H2 etc was too much helpful for me, as before reading this article I was totally unconcious from it.

and tell me about keyword density about per 100 words in the content?

    • Google Recommends 3%. I say don’t focus on keywords while writing. Write up your post normally, if your keyword count is too many, then use some synonyms of the keywords. If your keyword count is too low, then add up some keywords appropriately.
