Ola Electric started bookings for its electric bike on Thursday ahead of its launch in India and also said that the consumers can book or reserve their Ola Electric Scooter easily by paying the booking amount of Rs. 499.
Giving more details, the company also states that the consumers who book or reserve their electric scooter first on Ola Electric Website will get the delivery first. However, Ola said that it will disclose the specifications and price of the Electric Scooter in the next few days. The company also announced that the booking price of the electric scooter is completely refundable.
Ola also states that it signed a $100-million, debt financing statement with the Bank of Baroda to provide the fund to begin the initial phase of its electric two-wheeler vehicle factory in Tamil Nadu which will be the largest 2-wheeler vehicle factory in the world. They also state that this agreement is the biggest long-term debt financing agreement in the Indian electric vehicle industry. The Electric Vehicle factory by Ola is being built on a 500-acre area or site in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.
At the end of the previous year, Ola said that it would capitalize or invest Rs. 2,400 crores in the initial phase of the Electric Vehicle factory. They also plan to export their electric bikes to Europe and Australia. The company also plans to set up 1 lakh charging stations in 400 Indian cities, which also comprises various Hyper Charging Stations, which will be set up in big metropolitan cities.

Price Range of the Ola Electric Scooter:
Two models of Ola Electric Scooter are debuting: The Ola S1 and the Ola S1 Pro. The Ola S1 will have an ex-showroom price of ₹99,999, while the Ola S1 Pro will have an ex-showroom price of ₹129,000. Note that the actual price will differ according to the FAME.
We expect the price in other states to varying slightly due to respective state subsidies. Let’s see how it turns out.
Ola Electric Scooter Launch Date:
Ola Electric Scooter has launched on 15th August 2021. You can prebook it right now, and purchase the same paying full price from 8th September onwards. The deliveries will begin from October 2021 onwards.
How to Book or Reserve Ola Electric Scooter?
- First of all, visit the official website of Ola Electric.
- Now, click on the Reserve for Rs. 499 option on the website.
- Now, enter your mobile number and click on the Next option.
- A four-digit OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the OTP and again click on the Next option.
- Now, you’ve to pay the booking amount of Rs. 499. You can pay this amount through several payments methods like Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, and net banking. You can also pay using OlaMoney Wallet & OlaMoney Postpaid.
- After the successful payment, you will be redirected to a new page that shows that you’re completely registered for the Ola Electric Scooter.
How to Manage your Ola Electric Scooter Booking?
You can manage your Ola Electric Booking by visiting the My Reservations page. Note that you need to sign in to Ola Electric website first before you can access your booking details.
You can find your reservations from there.
You can do the following from there:
- Choose your Ola Electric Scooter Variant: S1 or S1 Pro.
- Choose your favorite color.
- Modify your variant and/or color.
- Download Advance Receipt for your Scooter.
- Reserve Another Scooter.
- Cancel your Booking and get a full refund.
How to Cancel your Ola Electric Scooter Reservation?
You can cancel your Ola Electric Scooter Booking from the My Reservations page on the Ola Electric Website. Click on the Manage Booking section, you will find the following options:
Click on the Cancel Reservation option, and follow the instructions. Note that in case you cancel your reservation, it will be refunded to your original payment method. Also, if you change your mind again, you can always make a fresh order again.
