How to use AOMEI Partition Assistant?

AOMEI Partition Install

As usual like any other software AOMEI partition can be easily installed without any need for other configurations.

AOMEI Partition Dashboard

As you launch the tool, you will notice the dashboard is well organized in different panes, which makes it very easy to locate and use any feature. The user interface is modern with white color and light blue pallets. Though we feel the font size could be a little larger then it would have been easy on the eye to read texts.

On the left pane of the dashboard all handy disk-related operations are listed, on the other side, it shows all the storage devices connected to the system with their details. Right-clicking on the selected disk/partition brings additional options/menu associated with them.

Let’s see how we can use some of these features.

Step-1: Decide which kind of operation you want to perform.

AOMEI Partition Dashboard1

Here for a demo, we have one disk partition which is full, and very little disk space left. So using the tool we will resize the partition.

Step-2: Right-click on the disk/partition and select the operation you want to perform. In our case, it’s F:/ drive.

AOMEI Partition select operationStep-3: We had selected the Resize/Move partition option. As you select, a new wizard will open.

AOMEI Partition resize

Here you can adjust the partition size to resize and also you can assign the free space from another drive (D:/) to your desired drive(F:/).

Step-4: Once you’re done configuring the operation, click OK. Next, your operation will be added to the queue of operation and you can see it on the top left corner.

AOMEI Partition apply

One good thing here is as you’re managing your sensitive data, at any time operation will not be performed instantly, it will be added to the queue of operation and when you click apply then it will be executed. You can discard or undo/redo your operations also before you move ahead. For a series of tasks, they all can be added to the queue and can be executed together. It’s very thoughtful to see that the tool can perform any operation after taking double confirmation from the user only.

Step-5: Once you’re sure click Apply to move ahead, review the operations and then click on Proceed.

AOMEI Partition Assistant Performance:

AOMEI Partition Assistant’s setup weighs around 28MB only and consumes very little disk space and minimal resources to operate.

AOMEI Partition success

No matter what operation you throw at this tool, it will not let you down. We had rigorously tested some critical operations like Wiping, Deleting, Merging, Resizing partitions, and all of them completed successfully with the desired outcome.

AOMEI Partition app move

We also really loved and used some other features like Create Bootable Media to create bootable OS in pen drive, Shred Files to erase files permanently, Migrate OS to SSD, and our most liked App mover.

AOMEI partition assistant has a consistent software update history. We feel and want if they can add some native disk health and bad sector fixing features, it will complete the software.

Compatibility and Pricing:

AOMEI Partition is available for all the versions of Windows as well as Windows Server OS only and compatible with all major file systems & storage devices.

AOMEI Partition price comparison

It comes with standard free variants to enterprise-grade editions. A free edition of the tool has plenty of features for starters to handle basic concerns.
