This review of the AOMEI Backupper Professional version had been carried out on our test machine having Intel 1st gen i3 processor, 6 GB RAM, Windows 10 OS, 120GB SSD Boot Drive, 320 GB Internal HDD, External 32GB SD card at the time of testing (1st -2nd June 2021).
Let’s dive in further.
AOMEI Backupper Features:
AOMEI Backupper is one of the best backup software with so many advanced features related to backing up windows which actually can help you tackle all data problems with ease. Let’s see what it’s capable of:
The backup utility of the tool helps to ensure the safety of the system and data. The Backup utility of AOMEI Backupper lets you do System, File, Disk, Partition/Volume backup.
Not only that, the user has the freedom to set Automatic/Schedule backup and choose a backup scheme like incremental & differential backup which greatly helps to save backup time and storage space.
The backup utility of the tool creates a backup image that can be saved on a local disk, NAS(Network device), external disk, or on a cloud.
The sync utility is one of the most useful utilities that we liked. It creates an image of data that can be only restored and not accessible normally. While sync utility easily syncs (makes a copy) of the data from source to destination directory, which is directly accessible further.
Data sync can be done with multiple sync modes like Basic Sync, Mirror Sync, Real-time sync, and Two-way sync.
The backup image of data created by the tool can be restored using this utility. It helps you to restore the computer to an earlier state and retrieve lost/deleted files easily. The tool can restore System, File, Disk/Partition in a jiffy.
Well if you intend to clone (replica) or migrate Windows system, Disk, or partition to SSD or any location it’s also supported by the tool. This is very handy when we don’t want to wipe the entire system and keep the system setup intact.
Already power-packed AOMEI Backupper also has some nifty tools which increase the value of the tool significantly.
It has Explore and Check Image, Create Bootable Rescue Media, Export/Import and Logs, Email Notifications, Compress, Recovery Environment, Intelligent Backup, Comment and Edit tasks, and many more truly useful tools.
Well, that’s a fantastic all-in-one offering from AOMEI Backupper right? Let’s see now, how to use them.

AOMEI Backupper Performance:
AOMEI Backupper is a very lightweight software that can operate with very minimal resources on the system.
We did not leave any corner of the tool untouched to test it out and it had performed beyond our expectations.
In our extensive test cases like system backup-restore, real-time sync, clone partition, file/folder backup-restore or be it those additional tools, all operations completed successfully. Not only that, all the results were error-free and all the features are working flawlessly as they’re claimed.
One thing that came under our observation is even though we’re having an SSD in our system, the software is taking approx. 2 minutes to load on launch and operations are a little slow compared to other peers. Let us know your experience with the same in the comments below.
